rotiserrie restoration just completed in may of 08. pretty much everything was either restored or replaced. here's what we did
completely disassembled car,put body on rotisserie,stripped all body parts including bottom of car treated for any rust and sealed,replaced both rear qtrs. and trunk floor,minor repair on both doors and front fenders,body was primed and block sanded several times to get a smooth finish, painted top and bottom with dupont hot hues hot candy raspberry with two coats of clear,then laid out and painted hood stripe then applied two more coats of clear on the whole car,front and rear suspensions were repainted black,new brake lines front to back, new master cyclinder,new wheel cyclinders, new fuel lines,new hooker super ceramic headers with custom flowmaster 2.5 in. exhaust pipes with polished stainless steel tips,new exterior door handles, new rear bumper,rechromed front bumper,all stainless trim was cleaned and polished,new N-96 air box, completely new interior which includes front and back seat covers, door panels, rear panels, package tray, headliner, carpet, interior door handles, new steering wheel, dash pad. tops and bottoms of doors were repainted, all interior trim repainted, guage cluster was completely restored to working condition and indash tach was added,lense was buffed and polished cluster bezel was rechromed ,new wheels rear 2-8x15in and front 2-7x15in., new rear tires 275-60-15,new front tires 245-60-15
any rust found was cut out and replaced with new metal butt welded in place.
the only body filler used was to smooth weld seams, body body is lazer straight, fit and finish excellent |
